2016年7月21日至27日，国际比较文学学会（International Comparative Literature Association，简称ICLA）在维也纳召开第21届学会大会。在2016年7月27日会议闭幕式上，北京大学校友、北京大学燕京学堂特聘教授张隆溪当选ICLA主席。大会同时宣布国际比较文学学会第22届大会将于2019年在中国深圳举行。
